HFRC Proposals Learning Session

Proposals:
Hello Members of Horseshoe Falls Regional Council,

We are getting close to our fall meeting where we deal with the budget and finances, as well as any proposals that come to us.

This year we will have a Category 2 Remit (one that requires Regional Council action) as well as a few other proposals.  As such we are going to have a Learning Session on Monday Oct 5th at 7pm via Zoom to hear about the different proposals and Remit, and to allow for questions of clarification.

There will be no debate or decision at this meeting on Oct 5th, but gives everyone a chance to look at the material ahead of the meeting on Oct 15/16.

In order to have the proposals and such available to folks for Oct 5th I’m asking that any proposals for the fall meeting be submitted to myself at mlaird@united-church.ca by Tuesday September 29th.

We will still accept proposals up until the new business deadline set at the meeting, but any proposal submitted after September 29th, won’t have the benefit of the learning session, and will not be given the same priority on the agenda as proposals received earlier.  Thank you for your work and service to this great church of ours.
