We are thrilled to announce that Beverly Tyhurst has joined Horseshoe Falls Regional Council as our new Congregational Support Minister. Beverly officially began her role on July 14th.
Beverly brings a deep well of experience, compassion, and dedication to congregational life. In this role, she will support communities of faith across the region, offering guidance, encouragement, and resources to help them thrive in their unique ministries.

More about Beverly:
Beverly Tyhurst has spent most of her professional life in program development and administration. She joins Horseshoe Falls Regional Council with over 10+ years of experience in the United Church serving congregations and working at the General Council Office. Most recently she served as the Administrator for the Office of Vocation supporting Candidacy Pathway, Admissions, and Annual Declaration and many other programs. Beverly is a community advocate with a heart for youth empowerment and mental health awareness. She’s known for keeping it real, honest, and hopeful in every conversation. She is an avid reader, hiker and equestrian. Beverly looks forward to supporting the congregations of the Horseshoe Falls region.
